Mirada caleidoscópica a los cuentos “una felicidad repulsiva” y “una madre protectora”

Since ancient times, man through the Greek aphorism “Know yourself” has started a search that seems to have no end, from this precept society is a variant to determine the lack of: essence, freedom, empathy and other elements that through literature they are explored. Humanity since its genesis has not stopped “telling” that short but concise verb, reveals the complex need to express lived experiences through lyrics. In this sense, two stories are brought up that are part of the book A repulsive happiness, written by the Argentine Guillermo Martínez, one of them alludes to the title of the work and is the initial piece, a story with varied nuances which immerse the reader in a metafictional game, where happiness is the central theme and its characters revolve around that sensation, which every subject wishes to obtain. In this way, Martínez opens the door to family secrets, class conflicts and emotional cracks, which are part of the nature of man. Likewise, the story “A protective mother” is taken up, with which the book is concluded, where the main character crosses the limits of motherhood from an excessive interest in the child, a fascination that emerges in the womb and continues from exaggerated manner with birth and subsequent growth. You can judge her attitudes or rather combine them with sick love, in this way the woman embodies the prototype of the perfect mother who wants to do everything imaginable so that her child is safe and although the actions she performs are disturbing, it is likely that a mother, as the title says, “protective” justified the character’s actions. The reader, then, manage to feel identified with the symbolism of motherhood in all its splendor, the one that loves, cares for, protects, feeds, watches over, teaches, and above all is not mistaken... apparently an idealized, almost sublime motherhood. In this order of ideas, the two stories are a network of stories that exemplify the crudeness of the subject before life and its tormented realities.Desde tiempo antiguos, el hombre a través del aforismo griego “Conócete a ti mismo” ha iniciado una búsqueda que parece no tener fin, desde este precepto la sociedad es una variante para determinar la falta de: esencia, libertar, empatía y demás elementos que por medio de la literatura son explorados. La humanidad desde su génesis no ha dejado de “relatar” ese verbo tan corto pero conciso, devela la compleja necesidad de expresar a través de las letras experiencias vividas. Es este sentido, se trae a colación dos cuentos que hacen parte del libro Una felicidad repulsiva, escrito por el Argentino Guillermo Martínez, uno de ellos alude al título de la obra y es la pieza inicial, una historia con matices variados los cuales sumergen al lector en un juego metaficcional, donde la felicidad es el eje temático y sus personajes giran alrededor de esa sensación, que todo sujeto desea obtener. De esta manera, Martínez abre la puerta a secretos familiares, pugnas clasistas y grietas emocionales, que hacen parte de la naturaleza del hombre. Así mismo, se retoma la historia “Una madre protectora”, con el que se da por concluido el libro, donde el personaje principal traspasa los límites de la maternidad desde un interés desmedido por el hijo, fascinación que emerge en el vientre y continua de manera exagerada con el nacimiento y posteriores etapas de desarrollo. Se puede juzgar las actitudes de ella o más bien compaginar con el amor enfermizo, de esta forma la mujer encarnar el prototipo de madre perfecta que desea hacer lo imaginable para que su hijo este a salvo y aunque son perturbadoras las acciones que realiza, es probable que una madre como dice el título “protectora” justifiqué el actuar del personaje. El lector entonces, lograr sentirse identificado con el simbolismo de la maternidad en todo su esplendor, esa que ama, cuida, protege, alimenta, vela, enseña y sobre todo no se equivoca... Al parecer una maternidad idealizada, casi sublime. En este orden de ideas, los dos cuentos son un entramado de historias que ejemplifican la crudeza del sujeto ante la vida y sus atormentadas realidades
